This isn’t your average sportive — this is a proper climbing challenge built for riders who love tough terrain and rewarding days in the saddle.
With around 1500m+ (5200 ft) of climbing packed into 106 km (64 miles), this route will test your legs, pacing and determination from start to finish.
Designed for riders looking for something more demanding, the route takes in some seriously challenging climbs and spectacular scenery, creating an unforgettable day on the bike.
This event is all about the ride, the adventure and the challenge ahead.

You must join the official group event on Strava to be eligible for a share of the prizes. (TBC).
No matter your ability, this is a friendly and welcoming sportive.
If you enter with Jersey you will be sent a code to purchase your Jersey in our shop
You will also need to inform us of your Event distance before we post out your jersey.
To receive a finisher’s medal, you’ll need to enter by 3rd June, that’s the cut-off date for us to place the medal order.
Entries will still remain open after this date, but late entrants can take part without a medal or can have last years medal.

ROUTE MAPIf you require a printed map, you need to download and print your own. There are no printed maps available at the event.
Although the routes are comprehensively marked with route arrows, on occasion people move these signs. We suggest downloading the route to a phone or navigation device just in case you need route assistance on the day.
For the safety of riders and the sanity of event staff we must use cut offs where required. If you start your ride at the appropriate time and can ride at approximately 12mph, you will make the course split point.
On this event there is no cut off.
Riders on all routes must return to the event venue by 16:30.
Food and drink will vary slightly by location, but feed stations usually include:
Water and energy drink.
Bananas, crisps, jellybeans or jelly babies.
Waffles, Jaffa Cakes, flapjack and cake.
Tea and coffee.
Plus a few other things that we source as they become available. Not everything listed will be available at every feed station.
We do not supply gels and cannot guarantee that products do not contain nuts, gluten or wheat. If you have specific food tolerances, you will need to carry your own supplies.
