UK Velo - UK Cycling - Cotswolds Sportive

The Cotswolds sportive starting and finishing nr Cheltenham will take in much of the stunning Cotswolds AONB on the cycle routes.

Not an overly tough ride, this sportive is more aimed at a relaxed day in the saddle, we are just trying to help you enjoy cycling at its very finest, and what better place to do it, in what is a stunning area of outstanding natural beauty.

With two sportive route choices a Long of 166 km (101 Miles) and a Medium route of 104 km (64 Miles) which ever you decide, you know it will be a great experience in this stunning environment.

No matter your ability, this is a friendly and welcoming sportive.

All our events are fully supported with marked routes, you won't have to worry about anything other than the cycling.

The START will close at 0900 you will not be able to start after this time.

If you require a printed map, you need to download and print your own, there are no printed maps available at the event.

Although the routes are comprehensively marked with route arrows on occasion people move these signs, we suggest downloading the route to a phone or navigation device just in case you need route assistance on the day.

For the safety of riders and the sanity of event staff we must use cut offs, if you start your ride at the appropriate time and can ride at approx. 12 mph you will make the course split point.

On this event the cut off is at 1230 , you must be at the 95 km point by then to continue the Long route, If not, you will be directed to the medium course, this affects the Long route only.

Plus a few other things that we source as they become available, not everything on the above list will be available at every feed.

Please note we do not supply gels and we cannot guarantee the products do not contain nuts, gluten, or wheat, if you have specific food tolerances you will need to carry your own supplies.

  Naunton village hall.
  39 km Long route only.
- FEED 2,
  Elmley village hall.
  93 km Long route, 50 km Medium route.
- FEED 3,
  Defford village hall.
  119 km Long route only.
